THE OFFICIAL REVIEW: WEEK 4
by The Ref from "Ask the Official"
October 1, 2007 0:04 AM

Referee Terry McAuley, who comes from Glenwood Maryland, is the highest rated Referee in the NFL over the past three years. He joined the NFL in 1998. Every eligible member of his crew officiated a play-off game last year.

Only two plays in the first half worth noting. An Eagle player rolled into Jeff Feagles on an early punt but it looked like Feagles put on an act and fell down. Good no call. The holding call on Seubert early in the game may have been the result of something that Eagle Coach Andy Reid suggested to the officials during their pregame meeting. Often during these meetings, a Coach will attempt to plant a seed in the officials mind regarding something that they picked up on films. Whatever it was, Seubert got called very early for the hold.

Really nothing to comment on in the second half other than the fact that the Giants must get a snapper for FG’s and PAT’s.
